Lucky trip but twice unlucky games

Today choon yon and i decided to give ourselves a deserved rest and took the scheduled 3.27 train back home instead of the rushing-3.07-train. This mean that we had more than 25 minutes to walk from Taylors to the train station... For your information... normally when we took train scheduled at 3.07, we had only about 10 minutes to spare!!! That also given that we were lucky to be released before 2.55pm. Today when we reached the train station, from far i noticed that there was someone guarding at the entrance... meaning we had to waste RM 2 to buy our ticket home ( normally we just pass through if no one is guarding ). Well, at first we did complaint, if not mistaken that is... but it turned out to be extremely worth the money this time round. I couldn't had ask for the better time for the officer to check the ticket in the train... since i had bought the ticket. Choon Yon was delighted and glad that we were to bought the ticket, mostly because of the guy in charge at the entrance. The RM 2 turned out to make us had a profit of RM 8 as a fine for not having a ticket was RM 10. Things turned out too good for me though and it seemed that that lucky escape cost me quite a lot of my luck. Deng Jye ( a neighbour ) asked me out for few games of pool, why not? was what i thought... We played 2 games and in the first games, i trailed by 3-0 in the beginning but then managed to counter and only the decisive black match ball to put into hole. He on the other hand, had another stripes ball to be holed before can took the black ball. I missed the chances and loss to him. Feeling unlucky, i challenged him to my unbeaten arena-the British pool. The previous one was American pool. This time around, i quickly stormed to a tremendous lead and in the end, what left for me was another similar scenario. I just needed to score that black ball but this time around he needed to score 5 more yellow balls!!! before had his chance to win the game... He got all his luck just in time while mine seemed to depleted... my target ball kept sticking around his balls or being blocked by his ball... he managed to score all his yellow ball and now it was a tight match again... He had the initiative to finish the game, but his placement was just slightly off and the ball ended just in front of the hole!!! My win! That was what i thought...even he already looked stunned by the position of the ball. He stopped the game, wanted to take down the picture of the ball ( showing how unlucky he was to his friends, that was what he said ). I smiled and bended downwards and prepared to take the suppose-to-be winning shot. I charged my stick backwards and just when i tried to hit it... I miss the shot completely!!! The stick only sliced past the upper region of the ball!!! and it isn't moving at all... well ok...perhaps few mm? I was struck in horror and i knew just how badly did i just miss... He won eventually... since it was an easy shot after all. Today, my proud record over him had ended in both British and Americans pool...
